We want to add a ODBC DSN for RemoteCE to use for table creation during interface steps of ACCPAC to the CE data table store. From the Windows Control Panel run the 32-bit ODBC Administrator. Once the ODBC Data Source Administrator form is displayed.
* Click on the System DSN tab. Click on the Add button.
* The create new Data Source form is displayed with the various data sources displayed. Click on the "Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)" and then the Finish button. This driver is typically installed during MS Office installation.
* Enter the Data Source Name exactly as RDCEaccess . The description can be RemoteDesk CE access source.
* Click on the Select button. You want find the RemoteCE program directory, just installed in the previous step and \RemoteCE\database folder and click on the CeaccessDB.mdb file. Click on OK to select the file and then click on OK to save the entire Data Source Name. It should now appear in the list of System Data Source.
