The installation process for the RemoteCE product requires that the Desktop PC and the PPC/HPC device are connected and the operating system Microsoft Windows CE Services has been installed and setup. It must be Windows CE version 3.0 or higher.
Note: When installing ActiveSync, the option to "Synchronize Files" must be selected to allow the creation of a common "My Documents" folder and file transfer for the PocketPC device
*This version of the software supports the PPC hand held device screen layout format using a stylus as a typing device. Versions supporting the HPC device screen layout and keyboard are also available.
